Which is better Sandown or Shanklin?

Sandown is flat. The road to the beach in Shanklin is like climbing the north face of the Eiger (but there is a lift). Shanklin is cuter. Sandown has a bit more to do beings bigger and with the zoo, Dinosaur Isle and the pier being in town.

We completed the walk in around 30 minutes but didn’t stop for tea/cake or anything, we felt we had enjoyed it and aren’t ones to hang around for longer than we need! Definitely worth a visit if in the area.
