Post subject: Re: BA vs BA2 vs BF XR8?? (differences?) Some BA mk2 had engine problems, bottom end bearings can go for no reason. They all have a similar diff/bushes so you will probably run into trouble there if you give the car a hard time.
Which is better a BA or a XR6T?
BF XR6T from around June 2006 had a stronger bottom end and same rods as the BF F6. BF XR6T also had a slight power and torque increase over BA. FG is the superior car in that list, BFII not to far behind in my opinion. I prefer the B series shape over the FG but each to their own. FG XR8 got the 290kw engine, Turbo was 270kw.
Which is better a FGX XR8 or a XR6T?
I’ve owned both a BA and BF XR8, currently own a FGX XR8. No issues from any of them, all have been trouble free and incredibly reliable. In saying that, the XR6T is a superior car and better bang for your buck in my opinion, I just prefer V8’s.
Which is better BMW GT or BMW XR8?
Not entirely true…the difference is not as big as the price would suggest. That’s right. Ofcourse a GT is better than an XR8, but by the time it’s on the road, it’s roughly $15 grand more. For $2200, I’ve got more power than a GT, and when I get some coil-overs for the front, I’ll have far superior handling.
