The Custom Shop use to be in Chicago, but I think it moved to the suburbs. I have two Custom Shop Washburns and they are both incredible guitars. I can’t speak for their imports. I looked it up and the USA Washburn’s are now made just north of Chicago, in the town of Mundelein, IL. Great guitars! This one really gives me a woody:
