Throughout the level, a Spike Bass will stalk the player. This level has a secret exit. In order to unlock this level, you must complete World 2-3’s secret exit. Unlocks a Warp Pipe that leads to World 2-Castle upon completing the normal exit.
How do you unlock World 7?
To unlock World 7, do one of the following:
- Defeat the World 5 Castle Boss as Mini Mario.
- Unlock the World 4 Cannon (you need to find the Secret Red Flag Exit in the World 4 Haunted House)

Use the shell and break the bricks to go into the red warp pipe. Touch the flag and the walk way to the cannon will open. Go to the cannon and blast to World 5.
