formaldehyde found in Chinese textiles

Filed under: toxins & waste — admin @ 2:17 pm

a New Zealand retailer has recently recalled children’s clothing from China because of formaldehyde evidence, which is almost 900 times what is considered “safe”.

personally i don’t think that any formaldehyde should be considered “safe” or have safe levels, especially on children’s clothing! This is just another item on the list of Chinese-produced products that have been doing more harm than good. Toys, dog food, toothpaste, and who knows what else, these are just the things we know about!

what’s sad is that so many other things have formaldehyde especially building material like plywood & particle board, basically many of the things sitting in our homes as you read this.
